This room was transformed from a teenage boy’s bedroom into a serene and soft guest room. The feature wall was stenciled with a modern graphic pattern to add some pop and to highlight the upholstered headboard. An antique dresser adds interest and it all makes this small guest room feel simply luxurious.
This little landing was feeling a little cold and my client wanted it to feel cozy and warm just like her inherited treasures. And now it does! It is also the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea and a magazine.
The objective was to keep all the fixtures in the same location but to change everything out, on a reasonable budget, as they are considering selling the home in the near future. So with this in mind, we kept the space pretty neutral to appeal to the majority of people.
The entire bathroom was gutted and the lighting bulkhead was removed which lifts the entire space. The same tile was used throughout with just a small accent tile in the shower area. The tile was laid in a grid pattern on the floor and in a brick pattern around the tub, to give it a little more interest.
This main bath renovation kept all the fixtures in the same position but the lighting bulkhead was removed to add some much welcomed height to the bath. All fixtures, including the tub, sink, toilet, tiles and vanity were replaced. All this on a very reasonable budget.
This was a quick refreshing makeover for a tired family room. A new custom made comfy down filled sofa, a clean lined coffee table, an industrial style floor lamp and a few accessories spruced it right up.
