This is my cottage Christmas decor for 2012.
First off here’s my two Christmas “branches”, in lieu of a real Christmas tree, as we aren’t here for Christmas and I don’t want to risk a fire.
I did this last year as well, but this year I decided to spray paint the branches white and then once they were dry I put a light coat of Mod Podge on them and liberally dosed them with white glitter. Then I hot glued on these large crystals I picked up at the dollar store in random areas. I wanted it to look like they were fresh from an ice storm.
My table centrepiece.
Some little vignettes around the cottage.
And all around the fireplace.
And with that, I will wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah or what ever holiday you celebrate at this time of year.
And a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!
See you all in 2013!
