Exterior fall displays – for City and Country

Continuing with my fall decor theme this past week. Here’s my exterior fall urn for my city home.  The practical side of me likes to reuse my faux foliage from year to year.  So I just switch it up with some natural pieces, i.e. the birch branches, pinecones and pumpkins.  Easy as pie…apple pie, that is….

Just like my home, I also reuse faux pieces for the cottage.  The leaves and chinese lanterns are all faux.  I love to cut some of my hydrangea blooms and place them within the arrangement. They dry nicely there and if in a sheltered spot can last for the season.

My glass lantern gets a refresh with some more cut hydrangea blossoms and pinecones.

I use a vintage crate to raise it up and added some more birch branches at the front for interest.

  4. Gorgeous! Love the way the hydrangeas look in the cottage arrangements.

  5. They are absolutely gorgeous! I feel like curling up with a pumpkin spice latte and a good book 🙂

  6. Absolutely beautiful. The grapevine ball is a great idea in an arrangement. 🙂
