Earlier this summer, I was asked by Moen if I would accept and review one of their gorgeous faucets, called the 90 Degree. I, of course, being a faucet hound and loving Moen products, agreed at once.
Isn’t she a sophisticated beauty in all her brushed nickel glory.
As sparkly and pretty as the chrome is, I chose the brushed nickel finish as I wanted to install it in my daughter’s bathroom and she has brushed nickel handles and fixtures in there already.
Some photos from Moen’s website. I particularly like the second one 🙂
With it’s sleek modern style, it would fit right into any contemporary or modern bath. I love square forms so I’m particularly pleased with this faucet and as the hardware in my daughter’s bath is also square, it fit the bill perfectly.
Once it arrived and hubby went to install it, he and I both commented on how heavy and durable it feels, a great plus in my book as the items that you touch daily should be substantial and well made.
This is where I am supposed to show you photos of how great the faucet looks installed in my daughter’s bathroom. However, as in real life, not all installs go smoothly, and once he had removed the old one handle faucet (builder grade) we saw that instead of the one hole in the sink that we envisioned, we actually had three holes! Very close together but still three holes! And of course, I hadn’t ordered the larger deck plate to cover three holes, I only had the smaller plate for one hole.
So, the plate is on order and you’ll see the installed faucet in a future post….very, very soon…I promise.
In the meantime, let’s talk about modern and contemporary bathrooms. Here’s my tips for creating a serene and modern bath:
1. Limit the number of finishes and repeat them. For example, use the same tile for the shower and floor, even in different shapes or size it will still read as repeating
2. Square it off, in fixtures, hardware and sinks.
3. Clean front cabinetry with no moulding or ornamentation
4. Hidden or clean lined hardware
5. Glass shower walls
6. Limited colour palette, keep it simple. Less is more in modern styling.

Beautiful faucet! So modern and clean!
Hubby is renovating (and enlarging) our downstairs bathroom this fall. This would fit perfectly with the other pieces we have purchased to do the reno…and we hadn’t purchased the faucet yet! I love this one and it reflects the piece we have purchased for the shower.
I love Moen products. They really stand behind them, and I appreciate a good guarantee. There are so few companies that truly stand behind their products any more.
Enjoy your weekend!

We just had a baby and are in desperate need of redoing our master bathroom. The faucet we have is leaking badly and just turned from a drip to a stream of water. We are now racing to find the most efficient, cost effective bathroom layout to accommodate two people between baby duties as the faucet continues to drip driving me completely mad. I honestly think the dripping is worse than the sound of the baby crying. I am counting the days until we can finally undertake redoing the entire bathroom. This new modern faucet would simply be divine to my ears and would put a LARGE smile on my face.
Looking forward to seeing the photo of the faucet in your bathroom.
This is a gorgeous faucet. I would be great in our bathroom!
Gorgeous faucet! I love Moen and since we are redoing our powder room it would be perfect for my one holed sink!
OMG, this is so perfect. I am just at the planning stages of a bathroom reno and this would look absolutely stunning with the new vanity. Fingers crossed!!!
Lisa, we are just about to re-do our master bathroom, and this would be a perfect fit! I love it. I can’t wait to see your post once yours is finished getting installed 🙂 Jennifer
I have a powder room in serious need of updating, and this faucet would be a stunning start to that project!
I would put this in my main bathroom. There is just a builder’s grade standard faucet in there right now, and I think an upgrade is in order!

Gorgeous faucet – it would work perfectly in my main bathroom.
Hi Lisa ,
The faucet looks great, I plan on gutting my main bathroom completely and start from scratch before Xmas . As you know Renos is my hobby. We remodelled our ensuite bath and installed a similar faucet on our Mexican sink. Looks and works great
What a gorgeous faucet, love it!! We are building an ensuite right now and I kinda need a faucet (fingers crossed)! Thanks Lisa!!
Would love this for our upstairs bath! I love the linear lines of this one – so wonderfully modern!

I am crushing on this faucet! What a great option for your daughter’s bathroom… and for me, well, I just love the faucet, but have nowhere to put it!! I don’t need to be entered in the contest, but wanted to comment anyway! 🙂 Can’t wait to see your pics with it installed…
I’d put this in our 2nd bathroom since we use it the most!

Thanks for this giveaway Lisa! What a treat! I would put one of these babies in my downstairs bathroom. (one-holed sink ;-)) I shared your giveaway on our blog just because it’s so cool, and now I see it might get me another entry option. Wheee 🙂
Beauty faucet! I’ll have to go check the website, I’d love something like this in antique bronze.
Oh my main bathroom – definitely! Love the way the water pours out of these faucets, so beautiful!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Oh I would put this new faucet in my new house. I have the designs on paper and the dreams at night. I just can’t wait to finally live in it….whenever that happens. I would love to win this.

I would put that little beauty downstairs in my yet to be made bar sink. It would look great next to the yet to be built wine cellar.
All we have in our house is Moen! And I’m getting ready to replace the kitchen faucet with a Moen! I love the brushed nickel finish.
I would put it in my yet to be finished basement income property.
Hi Lisa: How fun..a giveaway! Believe it or not, in our last bathroom reno (our son’s bathroom) we installed this faucet and we love it! Very sturdy and chic at the same time. Unfortunately, I don’t get to see it every day and when I do go in that bathroom..I am quite stressed for other reasons (I know you hear me mothers of teenage boys) I would love to win this faucet and put it in a bathroom I will use much more often. We have several upcoming renos planned.
