Friday Ponderings Vol. 2

How are you enjoying this series?  I know I’m having fun with the research part.  This week’s ponderings:

Lonny showcased small bedrooms that splurged on large design.  I’m have been really thinking of doing a completely toile room. I think it would be perfect for my itty, bitty cottage guest bedroom. Something like #9.  Lots of rooms with eaves, so if you have a challenge with that, you’ll get some great ideas here.

I’m going to be in San Francisco in the spring and this store is definitely going to be on “hit” list.

Urban Barn’s spring line has just come out and I don’t know about you but I’m loving beautiful Zoe in blue and green!

And I’m all over this Karie rug!

The newest Rue issue is out!  This one is all about COLOUR!  Can’t wait to get a moment to go through it.

I was so sad to hear about Target closing in Canada, that I ran out to pick up a few things before they sell out of everything.  My favourite piece I found was this wood sunburst mirror (I do have a bit of a problem with sunburst mirrors)…but I couldn’t resist.  And it’s already up!

So many beautiful rooms (and lots of blue!) in this stunning Connecticut home of Sue De Chiara, founder of Zhush (an home decor retailer and blogger).

Eleven kitchen cabinet and storage tips from Dering Hall.

And how about another eleven, as in Eleven Ikea hacks from Popsugar. I’m particularly smitten with the black and white pouf and I’m definitely ordering new legs for my recently bought Karlstad sectional.

Domino’s posted 5 of their favourite celebrity living rooms. My absolutely favourite is Lauren Conrad’s.  So neutral but so much texture and I love an exposed brick wall!

If you are dreaming of warmer weather like me, you’ll appreciate these nautical home decor ideas from Brit + Co.

Lighting woes? House Beautiful offers some great tips on how to light your space.

And lastly, Ikea is soon to launch their new kitchen cabinet series, Sektion and Apartment Therapy gave a great review of the new features and designs.
