Christmas Decor 2012……

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

This year I decorated with chartreuse green, white, turquoise, silver and gold.

These lovely little green glitter deers were from the dollar store!

I am a sucker for mercury glass so I tend to use alot of it at Christmas time, and who am I kidding, throughout the rest of the year too!

Wishing you a fabulous Christmas

and a

very Happy New Year!

Make sure and hug your loved ones!

Christmas Cottage Urn

And last but not least, my cottage Christmas urn.  We had scoured the nearby forest floor for fallen birch branches to use and hubby left some of our pine tree trimming until this weekend, which gave me a great supply of fresh greenery.

It was really great that some of our boughs came with their own pinecones attached….less work for me!

Next, I decorated my vintage sled and lantern with some evergreen branches, pinecones and some bows. I purposely kept it simple as I wanted that country Christmas feeling!

Sorry for the rather dark photos, but photographing on such a gloomy, wet Sunday was challenging.

How have you decorated your exterior?

Christmas Urn in red and gold, Oh My

As I mentioned on Monday, I did a couple of urns and swags this past weekend.

This is one I did up for a client.  The red was perfect against her reddish rust brick and gray/green door and trim.

The swag was a little added touch to finish up the front of the house.
