Turquoise and Gold Christmas Urn and Swag

It has been an incredibly busy week and I just managed to survive another taping of Rogers Daytime Ottawa, together with my fellow TBBer, Maureen.  I’ll be posting the clip here once I get a copy from the producer.

But I did manage to finish off my Christmas urn arrangement and swag this past weekend.

I went with turquoise and a touch of gold this year.  The turquoise and gold butterflies that I found at Home Sense inspired this year’s colour scheme.
I love the way the turquoise pops against my brown door.

I also did an urn and swag for a client, and one for my cottage, this past weekend.  I’ll be posting pictures of both of them shortly.

So what colours are you decorating with this Christmas?

I’ve linked this post up to ‘Tis the Season 2012 – Holiday Link Party Series’.

Red and gold inspiration

I recently finished decorating the exterior of a client’s beautiful home, just before we got snow!  I thought you might like to take a look.

Natural Holiday Arrangement

I’ve just finished up this exterior holiday arrangement on my front porch and thought you might like a peek.

I’m pretty pleased with it – I used one of my backyard aluminum floral containers that I put my annuals in during the summer.
I will be adding in some white mini Christmas lights once I pick some up.  The lantern at the base added some additional interest.
