Just before Christmas, I had my entire house painted. That was quite a feat and boy did it make the house feel fresh and new.

Today, I thought I’d shown you my updated kitchen.  The paint colour went from a warm green Benjamin Moore’s Sag Harbour Grey to a soft blue/gray, Benjamin Moore’s Subway tile.  We also changed the backsplash to a warm grey subway tile. Something pretty transitional and a fresh change on the tumbled marfil marble I had previously.  I kept the beige/taupe flooring and the antique brown granite, so I chose a warm grey that ran through both the flooring tile and the granite.

I also updated the lighting in the kitchen, something I have wanted to do for a long while.  I went with a vintage brass finish that works well with the warm cherry cabinets.

So there you have it a fresh new kitchen for 2017!
