This living room was just waiting for some colour, more furnishing and custom drapery.  We softened the room with floor length drapes in a beautiful turquoise floral fabric. The sofa actually had its lounge seat removed to allow for an extra chair. A round, clear glass coffee table helps to keep the room feel open and allow for traffic to flow through.  Pretty artwork, throw pillows and accessories finish this colourful space.

This bath was dramatically transformed from dark and drab to bright and pretty. The walk in shower was removed and a free standing tub was put in it’s place. It was made bright by using porcelain tile that mimics carrera marble in feel and durability. A soft pearlescent hexagon accent tile was used to reflect light and add a touch of sparkle to the tub area. The vanity was repurposed with a new quartz countertop, sink and faucet.

Design Plan – Gray, Mauve and Yellow

For this cold St Patrick’s Day, I’m sharing I’m  a little bit of spring with a fresh and pretty design, even though there’s not much green in it.

Grayentry

I’m totally in love with the yellow chair, the artwork, the rug, the console…okay I just love everything.  This entryway design is for a client’s home. It was decided to do the entryway after we had finished converting their main floor living room into a functional and pretty home office, a little bit of reno creep.

Stay tuned for the home office reveal soon.
